Now (and since 1979) Gray makes wine with Frank Ostini, a local chef, and they have created this to be one of the best of their fleet of Pinot Noirs. This wine is a barrel selection of two maritime-cooled valleys north of Santa Barbara, combining the forward fruit from east of Santa Maria, with the earth and structure of grapes from west of Buellton.
